Senior Programs Director

Builds and leverages a strong partnership with cross-functional teams to meet program cost, schedule and technical performance objectives in a matrix organizational environment Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, risk/opportunity management, identifies and resolves complex program problems Identifying, allocating and managing program resources, including workforce planning Cultivates a positive employee experience in a high-pressure environment by focusing on engagement, recognition, retention initiatives and professional development Demonstrates strong communication skills to deliver executive briefings internally and externally to customers, leaders and other program stakeholders Cultivates customer relationships and intimacy to develop further opportunities within the customer community Develops business area strategies and new business opportunities that are consistent with Division/ Sector priorities to drive consistent growth for the operating area Participates in the negotiation of contracts, contract changes, specifications, operating budgets, schedule milestones, and key terms and conditions Driving predictable program performance, including regular measurement and management of key performance metrics Bachelor's degree 12 or more years of program management or related experience;

OR Master's degree with 10 or more years of program management or related experience Profit & Loss experience with an integrated program team Proposal leadership experience Demonstrated success leading teams and/or organizations to achieve a common goal, exceptional collaboration skills in a matrix environment Experience leading and executing in demanding high visibility roles with evidence of being able to create an inclusive work environment that attracts retains and inspires diverse engaged teams Demonstrated ability to foster existing customer relationships and develop new customer relationships Experience leading DoW programs Demonstrated ability to develop and drive strategy, and critical thinking to resolve complex problems Experience generating and briefing senior level (i.e. executives) internal and external stakeholders Ability to travel up to 25% Must be a US citizen with an Active DoW Secret Clearance and ability to obtain special access clearances;
Or DoE equivalent and ability to obtain special access clearances Master's degree in engineering and/or business administration Expertise in Full Life Cycle (early S&T, EMD, Production & Sustainment) of program execution to lead the performance of tasks on schedule and at cost Competitive capture experience Understanding of manufacturing and process Knowledge of radar systems Experience leading classified programs
