About the Job

Our client is a top tier life sciences and healthcare boutique strategy consultancy, who are hiring at the Vice President and Senior Vice President levels in their office in Washington, D.C (1-2 days in the DC office).

What you'll do

• Drive growth across core areas such as market opportunity assessment, product development, go-to-market strategy, business development and licensing, and competitive strategy
• Work closely with other senior leaders to deepen existing client relationships and generate new business
• Apply sector knowledge, commercial judgement, and institutional learning to deliver high-quality project outcomes
• Provide thought leadership and contribute to the ongoing evolution of the firm’s offerings
• Develop intellectual capital that articulates the firm’s differentiated value in the marketplace
• Lead, motivate, and coach consulting teams, acting as a role model for junior colleagues
• Support the personal and professional development of consultants through mentoring and feedback
• Manage project delivery and oversee financial performance at both project and practice level

Requirements

• 7–10 years’ experience with a top-tier healthcare consulting firm
• Proven ability to originate, win, and grow client relationships within a strategy consulting environment
• An established professional network within the healthcare sector, with focus on pharmaceuticals
• Undergraduate degree from a leading university; postgraduate qualification preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Executive-level presence with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Confidence leading groups, combined with sensitivity to individual and organisational dynamics
• Ability to think strategically while maintaining close attention to detail
• Capacity to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, including business development, client leadership, project delivery, team management, and firm leadership
• Demonstrated success in building, leading, and developing high-performing consulting teams

Compensation and Benefits

• Base Salary ranging from $220,000 to $270,000, depending on position.
• Performance bonus ranging from 33% to 37%, depending on position.
