Expected salary range of $234,900 to $261,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITIONThe Managing Director of Corporate Security serves as the primary security leader and advisor for Constellation Business Units, directing the development and execution of a comprehensive corporate security strategy aimed at reducing risks, preventing adverse events, and protecting the company from financial, physical, information, and personal threats. The role oversees multiple integrated security practice areas—including Investigations, Physical Security Assessment Program, Security Operation Center, Infrastructure Protection, Regulatory Compliance, Physical Intelligence & Travel Safely Program, Background Investigations, Due Diligence and Business Continuity Crisis Management—to ensure consistent, effective enterprise wide protection in protecting people and assets.
The position works closely with senior/executive leaders and internal and external partners to ensure efficient delivery of security services and adherence to regulatory requirements.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Lead and periodically review the enterprise-wide security strategy to ensure alignment with senior and executive leadership priorities, regulatory requirements, and evolving risk conditions, and recommend enhancements across business units.
- Oversee and integrate security programs, projects, and policies to maintain compliance with federal and state laws, audit methodologies, and corporate governance standards.
- Drive enterprise-wide strategic planning and coordination for crisis management and business continuity to ensure consistent and effective response to business interruptions.
- Oversee internal code of conduct and ethics investigations and identify corrective controls to prevent recurrence, partnering with HR, Legal, Audit, and operating units to ensure thorough and legally sound investigations across jurisdictions.
- Serve as subject matter expert and corporate liaison to government agencies (e.g., DHS, FBI, USSS, state and local law enforcement) and industry organizations (e.g., DSAC, OSAC, ISMA, ASIS, E-ISAC), and provide leadership within the corporate crisis management structure to ensure employee and customer safety.
- Lead company wide protection programs including workplace violence prevention, threat assessment, and physical protection strategies for corporate assets such as plants and offices, and develop security awareness and training initiatives to reduce losses and strengthen employee safety culture.
