Location: Baltimore, MD
Pay: $24.00–$26.00 per hour
Schedule: Full‑time, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday–Friday (On‑Call Responsibility, flex time available)
About the Role: We are seeking a Residential Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential programs and provide leadership to shift leaders and direct care staff. This role ensures a safe, structured, and supportive environment for residents while maintaining staffing compliance, program standards, and company policies. The Residential Manager is responsible for staff supervision, scheduling oversight, training development, and performance management, while also supporting program leadership and engaging in direct care as needed.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Provide operational management of all residential staff, including shift leaders
- Provide leadership across all residential units to direct care staff
- Manage staff schedules and approve overtime in accordance with company protocol and in collaboration with the Program Director
- Ensure schedules for all residential units comply with required staff‑to‑client ratios
- Forecast staffing needs based on admissions and program demands
- Approve timesheets for all supervised staff in accordance with company protocol
- Routinely evaluate staff performance and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Identify areas for staff improvement and implement corrective or developmental plans as needed
- Develop, draft, and implement training policies and procedures
- Develop onboarding and training plans for new and existing staff
- Participate in training development, including orientation and ongoing training opportunities
- Lead monthly group staff meetings with shift leaders
- Conduct monthly one‑on‑one meetings with shift leaders
- Ensure all staff documentation is timely, accurate, and compliant
- Engage in direct client care as needed
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn new systems
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Social Work, Behavioral Health, or a related field preferred
- High School Diploma or GED required; candidates with significant relevant experience in residential or human services settings will be considered
- Minimum of 3–4 years of experience in a residential, behavioral health, or human services setting
- At least 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience preferred
