Overview
Senior Partner Member Advisor (Sr. PMA) role at SECU, focusing on leading a team of Member Advisors, enhancing membership acquisition through events and community engagement, overseeing the account opening process, following up with new members, and promoting SECU products and services. The Sr. PMA collaborates with the Financial Center Manager to meet Business Development objectives and address member escalations. All duties require knowledge of SECU’s products and services and adherence to SECU’s Code of Conduct.
WhatYou Will Do
The Senior Partner Member Advisor will:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Member Advisors to ensure high performance and engagement.
- Provide training and ongoing support to enhance knowledge of credit union products and services.
- Oversee the account opening process and follow up with new members to deepen relationships.
- Promote the full range of SECU products and services to members and potential partners.
- Drive business development through staffing, networking, and referring potential partners and ambassadors to Relationship Managers.
- Engage with potential members at events, schools, state agencies, universities, and community gatherings to improve member and employee experience through effective communication and coaching.
- Ensure performance management, membership growth, operational compliance, and achievement of results; maintain knowledge of all SECU product solutions and the account opening process.
- Uphold regulatory requirements and organizational policies, including Bank Secrecy Act and related regulations (e.g., OFAC, USA Patriot Act, Fair Lending, Information Security).
- Collaborate with the Financial Center Manager to meet Business Development objectives and address member escalations.
Supervisory responsibilities include leading and coaching the Member Advisor team to sustain high performance.
What we need from you- Ability to lead, mentor, and manage a team of Member Advisors to ensure high performance and engagement.
- Provide training and ongoing support to the team to enhance their knowledge of credit union products and services.
- High School Diploma required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in member services, sales, or business development, preferably in a credit union or financial services environment.
- At least 3-5 years of leadership experience, including people management experience.
- Proven track record of successfully managing teams and driving membership growth.
- Knowledge of credit union products and services, financial literacy, and community engagement strategies.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Compensation information:
Offers will be commensurate with experience and education.
Note:
The typical hire at or below mid-point is $79,900 for this role. Salary range:
Min. $61,500 – Max. $98,300.
