Greystones Group has an opportunity for a Senior Program Manager to support a Navy customer in the Washington D.C. area. This project is in support of policy and process improvements, and modification of IT support tools. You will be responsible for leading and overseeing complex programs supporting the Department of Navy operations. This position will be located in the Washington D.C. area;

however, if the candidate’s unique skills and experience would result in considerable value added to the customer, the position can be performed at remote locations and/or telework.

• Lead and manage program planning, execution and delivery for Navy IT and engineering programs.
• Apply in-depth knowledge of DoD/DoN procedures and policies to manage program milestones, risk, and compliance.
• Coordinate engineering processes, ensuring changes are tracked, documented and implemented effectively.
• Engage with cross-functional teams, including engineering, logistics, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Agile methodologies.
• Oversee cost, schedule, and performance of assignment programs, delivering on-time and within budget.
• Prepare detailed program documentation, including status reports, briefings and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead strategic planning and resource allocation to support mission goals.

• Masters degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management or a related discipline.
• 15+ years of experience in Program/Project Management.
• Experience with Earned Value Management.
• Experience with ISO 9001 and CMMI principles, practices, and procedures.
• Experience directing and managing all phases of program execution, including planning, development, and delivery.
• Experience as a Program/Project manager supporting DoD/DoN clients.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Strong analytical, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• PMP or PgMP certification required.
• Active Secret clearance required.
