  • Pay Rate: $22‑23 per hour based on years of experience
About the job

The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for the overall maintenance of the property, including preventive maintenance, painting, and repairs inside and outside to provide a safe, attractive, and orderly environment for residents, staff, and visitors. This entry‑level position requires reliability and a willingness to learn.

Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 6 months of full‑time experience in building maintenance
  • Proficient in English; able to read, write, and follow verbal and written English instructions
  • Ability to follow proper safety protocols and to shut off water and electricity in emergencies
  • Must have reliable transportation
Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of basic machinery and tools
  • Construction or equipment maintenance experience
Essentials
  • Make recommendations to the Community Administrator on necessary maintenance repairs, preventive maintenance, and property improvements.
  • Repair and paint the building exterior as needed.
  • Maintain adequate lighting for the interior and exterior of the property.
  • Schedule and expedite work orders.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly storage room.
  • Capable of using and climbing an extension ladder to access the roof, windows, and siding for repairs.
  • Follow and enforce facility safety rules.
  • Complete required training.
  • Available to work on‑call to ensure 24‑hour maintenance coverage.
