Position Overview

Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full‑Time Sanitation employee in Baltimore, Maryland.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Pay: $19.00 per hour (paid weekly)

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• At least one year of previous warehouse experience preferred
• MAY need equipment certification depending on location
• Ability to read and recognize location, date, and product codes
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to build professional relationships at all levels
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Self‑driven, flexible, and able to excel in a fast‑paced environment
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and set priorities
• Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up

Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor‑vehicle records check; a road test; and/or customer background and badging requirements.

• Cleaning restrooms, break rooms, locker rooms, and office areas per sanitation schedule
• Cleaning exterior areas of the building, including windows, walkways, and emptying trash containers and receptacles per sanitation schedule
• Sweeping and scrubbing warehouse floors and office areas per sanitation schedule
• Wiping down racks, guard rails, and walls in the warehouse and office areas per sanitation schedule
• Additional duties as assigned; overtime as needed
• Maintains a safe, clean, and tour‑ready facility
• Assist maintenance technicians as required and perform light maintenance activities such as painting
