We have worked all over the United States completing thousands of projects in the field of creative multimedia shows for clients such as Paul McCartney, the Trans–Siberian Orchestra, the Rolling Stones, Lady Gaga, American Idol, America’s Got Talent and multiple professional sports franchises in the NFL, NBA and NHL. We have also created permanent and temporary interactive installations for world–class venues including the Staples Center and The John

F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.

Our strength lies in the broad range of techniques and custom special effects solutions we use to create first class spectaculars including laser effects, video projection and mapping, pyrotechnics, architectural lighting installs, custom constructed sets and bespoke engineered special effect solutions for live events and permanent applications.

Role Summary

Image Engineering is seeking a dedicated full-time Warehouse Technician to join our Baltimore Headquarters team, responsible for preparing, organizing, and maintaining equipment used across a wide range of productions, from professional sports presentations to major touring events. The reliability and safety of our equipment are essential to the success of every show we deliver, and our Warehouse Team plays a critical role in ensuring assets are properly prepared, maintained, and ready for deployment.

This position is based in Baltimore and follows a Monday through Friday schedule during normal business hours
, with overtime available or required based on operational needs. Following training and demonstrated proficiency, opportunities to support live shows as a field Technician may be available on a voluntary basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Following detailed verbal and written instructions, including gear lists and packing plans
  • Inspecting, verifying, and counting equipment to ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper condition prior to shipment
  • Scanning and tracking equipment using the company’s inventory management system
  • Packing equipment into storage containers according to established procedures and show requirements
  • Receiving, inspecting, and properly storing equipment returned from shows
  • Performing basic inventory maintenance and reporting discrepancies or damaged assets
  • Maintaining equipment organization and readiness within the warehouse
  • Supporting adherence to established warehouse procedures, safety practices, and handling standards
  • Sharing knowledge of standard operating procedures and preferred workflows with team members
  • Assisting with task coordination and prioritization when immediate supervisory direction is unavailable
Secondary Responsibilities
  • Prepare packages and freight for shipment using approved carriers and methods
  • Receive, inspect, and process inbound shipments from vendors and third parties
  • Conduct local pickups and deliveries using company-owned vehicles, as needed
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and well‑organized workspace, including shelves, pallets, and work areas
  • Complete required safety and compliance training and follow OSHA and company safety policies

    Follow established company procedures, policies, and operational directives
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Able to work effectively in a fast‑paced, physically active environment
  • Willingness to learn basic repair and maintenance of special effects and event production equipment
  • Valid U.S. Driver’s License required
  • Able to pass a background check and drug screening
  • Forklift certification preferred; willingness to obtain certification and operate forklifts regularly
Education / Experience Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year of warehouse experience
