Overview
Job Title: Housekeeper
Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated housekeeper to join our team and ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of our facility. The ideal candidate will perform routine cleaning tasks and provide emergency cleanup as needed, while demonstrating accountability, participant focus, quality, independence, and mutual respect.
Responsibilities- Perform routine cleaning and sanitizing of multiple areas within the facility.
- Provide emergency cleanup for spills using universal precautions to prevent infection and contamination.
- Assist with set-up and breakdown for special events.
- Work special events as scheduled.
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
- Work and assist with set-up and breakdown for special events, including Saturdays and/or Sundays.
- Be on-call when short-staffed due to vacation or emergency leave of other housekeeping staff.

- Ability to work well with others.
- Must be physically able to lift sixty (60) lbs.
- Basic knowledge of commercial maintenance/housekeeping principles, practices, procedures, and equipment.

- Respond to participants needs in a pleasant, professional manner and timely fashion.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in floor care and porter cleaning.
- Knowledge of housekeeping and EVS procedures.

Work EnvironmentWork in multiple indoor and outdoor environments with varied lighting and temperature conditions. Be prepared for exposure to extreme weather conditions. The schedule includes Monday to Thursday from 11am to 7pm, Friday from 10am to 6pm, and the 2nd Saturday of each month from 2pm to 9/10pm.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Baltimore, MD.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
