Position Summary
The Maintenance Porter performs several custodial functions and light mechanical maintenance to ensure the appearance and cleanliness of campus parking facilities, contributing to the professional upkeep and guest experience of all employees and guests. Position will be evening based during events.
This role will pay an hourly rate of $15.00 to $17.00.

This position will remain open until April 17, 2026.
- Regular sitewidehousekeeping and hazard inspections.
- Takescorrective action to address any conditions that are not acceptable.
- Respondsimmediatelyto any spills.
- Empties trash receptacles.
- Performs light mechanical maintenance.
- Ability to perform significant amounts of physical activity including sweeping, mopping, movingvarious items, and shoveling snow.
- Reports safety hazards and larger maintenance problems to management.
- Cleans hanging signsand parking facility infrastructure.
- Maintains,reports,and deploys suppliesinventory.
- Completes thedailycleaningchecklist and addresses unsatisfactoryareas,
- May perform other duties to ensure productive parking operations including moving equipment including traffic cones, barrels, delineators, movablesignageand barricadesto ensure efficient operations.
- Perform other duties as needed to ensure productive operations, quality service, and customer satisfaction.
- Previoushazardous materials training.
- Janitorial and light maintenance work history preferred.
- Verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Able tolift
40-80lbs. - Must have flexibility to work shifts on weekdays, weekday evenings, weekends, earlymorningsand late nights and outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Able to work independently.
- Able to sit/stand forlong periodsof time.
- Ability to readandunderstand Material Safety Data Sheets (MDS) and complete reports.
- High School Education or equivalent.
- A driver’slicense may be required depending on business needs.
- Experience working in the customer service industry is a plus.
