Real Estate Attorney

Overview

Gordon Feinblatt's Real Estate Practice Group is looking for an experienced real estate attorney, preferably having spent ten or more years representing clients on commercial real estate matters in Maryland.

A typical day for this position is a mix of advising clients on acquisitions and sales, leasing, mixed use development, zoning and land use, financing, landlord tenant matters, government approvals, and more. Strong writing and communication skills are necessary for this position. This is a senior position working independently without more senior supervision but is part of a collaborative real estate law team and a firm available to provide support as unique or unusual client challenges are presented.

Our team spends most of its time:

• Drafting contracts, including leases and purchase sale agreements
• Negotiating the details of transactions
• Conducting due diligence reviews
• Working collaboratively with other departments within the firm
• Providing strategic legal advice

• Must be licensed or eligible to be licensed in Maryland.
• Ten or more years representing clients on commercial real estate matters in Maryland (preferred).
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a senior role while collaborating with a real estate team.
• Significant but not required: a book of portable business; candidates will be expected to attach to existing clients and gradually expand the practice.
