Location: Baltimore, MD or Rockville, MD
Team Size: 5 Attorneys
Compensation:
- 1–3 years: $110,000–$130,000
- 3–5 years: $135,000–$150,000
- Compensation flexible based on experience

The firm is seeking a Maryland‑barred Family Law Associate who is eager, committed, and looking to grow within the firm for 3–5+ years
. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a supportive but fast‑paced environment, enjoys client interaction, and is seeking increasing responsibility, including litigation exposure.
- Manage a caseload of approximately 30 active family law matters
- Handle custody, divorce, child support, and related issues
- Draft pleadings, motions, agreements, and trial prep documents
- Participate in hearings, mediation, and trials depending on experience
- Collaborate closely with senior and junior paralegals assigned to your matters
- Track and maintain ~1600 billable hours annually (approx. 134/month)
- Engage with clients regularly and maintain excellent communication throughout representation
- Active Maryland Bar license
- 1–5 years of family law experience preferred
- Solid drafting skills and courtroom exposure (ask about trial experience during screening)
- Commitment to professional growth; stability in your career history (no frequent job‑hopping)
- Reliable transportation for court appearances
