Job Title: Associate Attorney – Family Law
Compensation: Up to $150,000 (commensurate with experience)
About the Firm: Our client is a boutique Family Law Firm dedicated to providing compassionate and effective legal representation in matters such as divorce, custody, and support. The firm prides itself on its collaborative culture, client-focused approach, and commitment to excellence.
Position Overview: The firm is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join its growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in family law, excellent litigation skills, and the ability to manage cases independently from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities- Represent clients in family law matters including divorce, custody, child support, and related litigation.
- Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents with precision.
- Conduct discovery, depositions, and prepare for hearings and trials.
- Provide strategic advice and maintain proactive communication with clients.
- Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to ensure timely case progression.
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active Maryland Bar license.
- Minimum 3+ years of family law experience (litigation experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of Maryland family law and civil procedure.
- Excellent oral advocacy, negotiation, and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Competitive salary up to $150,000
