Associate Attorney; Health Care Regulatory

We are partnering with a mid-sized law firm seeking an associate with 3+ years of experience to join their well-established health care practice. This role focuses on representing health care providers in a variety of regulatory, transactional, and compliance matters.

The firm works with health systems, physician groups, nursing homes, and other providers providing advice and support on a range of matters at both the federal and state levels.

This is not Big Law. The firm promotes a collaborative, supportive culture where attorneys enjoy working together and truly support one another. Many attorneys have built lifelong careers here.

Highlights:

• Billable hours target is 1800, with 50 hours eligible as pro bono with competitive comp for regional mid-law firm
• Hybrid in-office policy
• The firm contributes a percentage of base salary to a profit-sharing program (a straight contribution, not a match; for 2025 it was 10% of base) and they award year-end bonuses.
• Clear path to partnership that does not require bringing in business

The work includes:

A variety of healthcare matters including:

• False Claims Act,
• Reimbursement,
• Fraud and Abuse,
• Enforcement Actions, and
• Transactional Work.
