Bioinformatics Intern in Baltimore, Maryland! Join Labcorp’s 2026 Global Internship Program and take the first step toward a meaningful career in healthcare innovation! We’re looking for motivated students to be part of a dynamic 11‑week paid internship where you’ll work on impactful projects and gain real‑world experience, all while supporting our mission to improve health and improve lives.

Monday-Friday, 40/hrs week - Eligibility:
Preferred candidates are rising juniors and seniors (Dec 2026 through June 2028 graduation) who are currently enrolled in a relevant degree program; however, all current students pursuing related studies are encouraged to apply.
As a Labcorp intern, you’ll be immersed in hands‑on work that complements your academic background. In addition to your project work, you’ll gain valuable exposure to Labcorp’s global business, culture, and leadership through:

Personal Genome Diagnostics (PGDx), a part of Labcorp, is Empowering the Fight Against Cancer by unlocking actionable information from the genome. We are developing an innovative portfolio of tissue‑based and non‑invasive liquid biopsy genomic products for laboratories worldwide. The Bioinformatics and Data Science team is a multidisciplinary team of engineers and scientists providing bioinformatics and data science support for the Oncology portfolio.
InternshipAssignment Summary
- Support evaluation of bioinformatics pipelines and software
- Contribute to technical documentation
- Learn development processes in an agile environment
- Familiarize yourself with genomics results for precision oncology products
- Working towards bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Bioinformatics, Computer Science or a related field
- Proficiency working with data and/or software; experience working with next‑generation sequencing data and/or tooling preferred
- Has experience delivering multiple projects in an academic or professional setting
- Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders
- Pay Range: $27‑$30/hr (All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.)
