As a Nokia O&M Support Engineer, you will handle daily operational and maintenance tasks across Nokia core network systems, ensuring timely issue resolution and proactive system stability. You will interact directly with Nokia L2/L3 support engineers, manage event isolation, collect logs/traces for analysis, and execute recommended corrective actions. Additionally, you will support software upgrades, configuration rollouts, KPI tracking, and operational improvements.
This position requires a hands‑on engineer who can perform detailed diagnostics while providing expert guidance to customer operations teams.
- Manage daily maintenance activities, including opening and tracking tickets with Nokia Central Support
- Collaborate with Nokia L2/L3 engineers for troubleshooting, log collection, and resolution execution
- Perform proactive monitoring, surveillance, event detection, and fault isolation
- Conduct first‑line troubleshooting and resolve operational issues
- Escalate complex technical problems to Nokia L2/L3 teams
- Execute routine diagnostics and implement corrective actions
- Support operational deployment of Nokia software upgrades
- Support configuration updates across Nokia network solutions
- Track KPIs, produce support performance reports, and analyze trends
- Develop and improve fault diagnosis procedures
Provide consultancy and recommendations to customer operations teams
- Strong experience in Nokia O&M or telecom network support roles
- Hands‑on experience with Nokia core network elements and operational processes
- Proficiency in log/traces collection, fault isolation, and incident management
- Understanding of performance KPIs and O&M best practices
- Experience with network software upgrades and configuration rollouts
- Strong communication and customer support skills
- Ability to collaborate with vendor L2/L3 engineering teams
- Experience with multi‑vendor telecom environments
- Familiarity with ITIL processes or certification
- Knowledge of automation scripts for monitoring or diagnostics
- Prior work experience in the Middle East telecom sector
- Background in 4G/5G core operations
