DescriptionData Systems Analysts, Inc. (DSA) is seeking a Data Integration & Architecture Specialist to support Army programs at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG). This role focuses on data architecture, integration, and mapping across enterprise systems, Army data platforms, and structured data governance.
This position is not a Power BI or Power Platform developer role; however, candidates with exposure to those ecosystems will be well-positioned to succeed. The ideal candidate understands how enterprise data moves between systems, how to structure it for reuse, and how to translate mission needs into well-architected data solutions.
Required Qualifications- Experience with enterprise data sets and data dictionaries
- Strong background in data mapping, data modeling, and architecture documentation
- Proficiency creating technical diagrams and data flows (Visio or similar)
- Experience supporting or integrating with Army data platforms such as Vantage and Advana
- Ability to translate mission or business needs into clear technical data solutions
- Active DoD Secret clearance
- Experience working with Service Now data, including:
- Pulling and structuring data from Service Now platforms
- Designing data architectures for integration and analytics
- Experience with Army data environments, with exposure to the Army Acquisition community strongly preferred
- Familiarity with Power Platform or Power BI (not a development role)
- Understanding of enterprise data governance practices
- Prior work in DoD or federal enterprise data environments
- Architect and document data integration approaches across enterprise systems, with a primary focus on Service Now.
- Analyze and extract data from Service Now modules to support reporting, analytics, and downstream consumers.
- Develop and maintain data maps, data dictionaries, and system-to-system mappings.
- Create data flow diagrams and architecture visuals using tools such as Visio.
- Support Army data environments including Vantage and Advana, ensuring alignment with Army data standards.
- Partner with technical teams and stakeholders to define data structures, interfaces, and integration patterns.
- Provide architectural guidance as Service Now capabilities expand over time.
- Support governance, traceability, and documentation of enterprise data assets.
