Adjunct Faculty role at Transnational Academic Group

This position will be with Transnational Academic Group Middle East and will be governed by the laws of the UAE.

- Contextualise course material.
- Conduct lectures, tutorials, practical classes, demonstrations, workshops, and student field excursions.
- Mark courses and perform assessment invigilation.
- Consult with students.
- Undertake administrative functions as required under the direction of the Head of School or PVC.
- Attend departmental and/or faculty meetings.
- Work with the Student Success Centre on student teaching and learning issues.
- Earned PhD or master’s in computer science, or a related field.
- Mobile and cloud computing technologies and applications.
- Knowledge of cloud computing models.
- Understanding of cloud computing security and solutions.
- Advanced knowledge of the C programming language.
- Ability to write and interpret standard C pointer expressions.
- Proficiency in implementing C code to dynamically allocate/deal locate memory.
- Experience employing standard Unix/C tools to diagnose program faults.
- Good knowledge of Python.
- Understanding of the features of the UNIX/Linux Operating System, kernel, shell, and resource management.
- Skill in developing and analysing systems‑level programs and describing how they are executed by the UNIX/Linux kernel.
- Ability to devise programs and incorporate scripts into the UNIX/Linux operating system environment to perform specific systems and administration tasks.
