Position

Description:

We are seeking an experienced Dev Ops/Software Engineer to support the deployment, automation, and operational management of enterprise systems. The candidate will be responsible for automating processes, troubleshooting operational issues, managing CI/CD pipelines, and supporting containerized environments, observability platforms, and identity management solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Use Linux CLI and Linux tools to manage and maintain systems.
  • Develop and maintain Bash and Python scripts to automate manual processes.
  • Implement and manage automation frameworks, including Ansible, for orchestrating deployments.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues in operational systems.
  • Apply CI/CD principles and manage pipelines using Git Lab CI, Jenkins, and Git source control.
  • Manage datacenter infrastructure using tools.
  • Monitor and analyze system performance using observability and analytics platforms like Splunk.
  • Support Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions such as Keycloak and management tools like Hashi Corp Vault.
  • Work with message brokers such as Kafka and containerization technologies including Docker, Pod Man, and containerd.
  • Collaborate in Agile, Scrum, or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environments using the Atlassian tool suite (JIRA, Confluence).
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering).
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Dev Ops, systems engineering, or related disciplines.
  • Proven experience in Linux system administration and automation.
  • Strong scripting skills in Bash and Python.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git source control, and deployment orchestration.
  • Knowledge of containerization, IAM, secret management, observability, and message broker solutions.
  • Experience working in Agile or SAFe environments using Atlassian tools.
Desirable

Skills:
  • Familiarity with Datacenter Infrastructure Management (DCIM) tools.
  • Experience with Ansible automation frameworks for large-scale deployments.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex operational system issues independently.
Physical Requirements:
  • This position involves sedentary work with physical requirements expected for at least 50% of the time. Essential functions include prolonged periods of sitting, standing, walking, and talking.
