SARs Mid-Level Analyst
MELE Associates, Inc. seeks a mid-level analyst to support a newly established analytic cell focused on internal Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) and incident information across DOE. This role serves as the principal analyst for internal SAR intake and coordination with DOE sites, and the position is fully funded by the government.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate with DOE sites to ensure SAR submissions are complete and compliant with DHS Functional Standards.
- Work with analytic team members to conduct immediate and ongoing searches for linkages among internal and external SARs.
- Identify information reported through other DOE systems that should be captured as SARs and encourage appropriate submission.
- Draft concise summaries of individual SARs for inclusion in periodic reporting.
- Contribute to analytic products where SARs enhance broader intelligence or operational assessments.
- Master’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experience or Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience.
- Active DOE Q or DOD TS clearance required.
- Strong written communication and analytical skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple inputs.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
This is a full-time onsite position in Washington, DC 20024, USA.
SalarySalaries are determined based on several factors including external market data, internal equity, and the candidate’s related knowledge, skills, and abilities for the position.
