Network Engineer

Optomi, in partnership with a leader in the financial industry, is seeking an experienced Network Engineer. The role focuses on high-level network operations, managing network monitoring, tickets, and processing across multiple vendors. The ideal canddiate will have Arista and Palo Alto experience.

Qualifications:

• 5-6+ years total relevant exp minimum at other reputable/ enterprise firms as complex as OMF
• Exposure to network operations (security, monitoring, etc.)
• Collaboration skills and willingness to learn

Job Nice to Haves:

• Cloud network experience (AWS and Azure)
• Data center networking experience
• Automation knowledge for Palo Alto
• Monitoring exposure (tools not specified)

Responsibilities:

• The role focuses on high-level network operations, managing network monitoring, tickets, and processing across 200 vendors.
• Transition from Cisco to Arista as the core platform and moving to cloud environments (AWS and Azure).
• The role involves collaboration with offshore teams, working with Palo Alto security systems, and handling operations (not architecting).
