Northrop Grumman's Chief Information & Digital Office (CIDO) organization is seeking a senior Net App Storage Administrator with expertise in Net App storage management to join its Classified Solutions team in Linthicum, MD. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site, full-time, at our Linthicum, MD campus - please note that this is not a remote work opportunity.

Roles and responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
* Serve as a systems administrator with shared responsibility for the effective maintenance and operational activities of the entire IT infrastructure including Servers (Windows & Linux), Workstations (Windows & Linux), Networking equipment, and Net App storage systems.

* Install, configure, and maintain Net App operating systems; ensuring high availability and performance.

* Maintain and advise on the Net App Storage environment, including ONTAP, LUNS, NFS, and object stores.

* Monitor and optimize overall system performance, implementing best practices for storage management.

* Plan and execute storage provisioning, including volume creation and management.

* Configure and manage Net App Snapshots, Snap Mirror, and Snap Vault technologies for data protection and disaster recovery.

* Implement and manage storage security protocols, ensuring data integrity and compliance with organizational policies.

* Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Net App storage systems and provide technical support to end-users as needed.

* Collaborate with IT teams to design and implement storage solutions that meet organizational needs.

* Maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and policies related to storage management.

* Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies related to storage solutions.

* Function as a senior technical resource for the rest of the System Administration team; often taking on the mentorship and guidance of junior level team members.

* Communicate effectively with all stakeholders in written and verbal formats.

* Ensure necessary IT projects are completed independently or assigned/delegated to others as necessary.

* Obtain and analyze internal and external customer requirements and recommend equipment and software as needed, periodically taking on the responsibility of coordinating various vendor quotes necessary to procure said equipment and software.
