Sr. Product Manager - Tech, Supply Chain, Amazon Leo – Inventory and Fulfillment Technology

Amazon Leo is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Amazon Leo will help close the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable broadband to a wide range of customers, including consumers, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity.

As part of Leo’s Inventory and Fulfillment Technology (IFT) team, you will play a pivotal role in building and launching global transportation and operational cost allocation capabilities. You will be responsible for developing an impactful technical product suite that meets Leo’s global expansion plan. This requires exceptional foresight to design future‑proof integration patterns that can evolve with both business needs and regulatory requirements while minimizing changes to business systems.

Key

job responsibilities
  • Define and align product vision with business goals, and develop the product roadmap to achieve the product vision and business results.
  • Collaborate with global Finance, Accounting and Tax partners and product managers to identify detailed product requirements and work closely with engineering to manage feature release schedules, risks, and trade‑offs.
  • Influence technology design in partnership with engineering teams in Leo and in Amazon to ensure technology choices are aligned to our needs, and ensure product re‑usability and avoid redundancies.
  • Develop testing and communicate plans for feature releases.

Export Control Requirement:
Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

A day in the life

As an IFT employee at Leo, your day involves collaborating with engineering teams to prioritize critical work, ensuring alignment with launch deadlines. You’ll engage with customers and regional leaders across continents to define requirements, balancing global fulfillment needs with regional nuances. Coordinating with external technical teams is key, as you develop and execute a comprehensive plan to meet technical deliverables on time.

Your role is a blend of technical oversight and cross‑functional collaboration, ensuring that each aspect of the global fulfillment strategy is ready for launch and optimized for success.

About the team

Our team puts a high value on work‑life balance. It isn’t about how many hours you spend at home or at work; it’s about the flow you establish that brings energy to both parts of your life. We believe striking the right balance between your personal and professional life is critical to life‑long happiness and fulfillment. We offer flexibility in working hours and encourage you to find your own balance between your work and personal lives.
