IT Support, Hardware Engineer
Description
The Enterprise hardware team supports various projects related to Cerner based EMR system. This team will focus on refreshing TC scanners, iPads, printers, and other peripherals across primary hospitals and 120 outpatient facilities. Technicians will perform site assessments, inventory hardware assets related to Med Connect, determine which hardware to phase out or upgrade, and deploy new hardware throughout the hospitals. Critical to this role is the ability to document and track assets in an organized fashion using Microsoft Excel.
The deployment will also require standard hardware break/fix troubleshooting and resolution for laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other medical equipment, as well as mapping printers and drivers to new devices for end users.
- Prior experience supporting large-scale hardware deployments, preferably within a small traveling team on a weekly/monthly basis.
- Experience imaging and deploying devices to the network, including laptops, desktops, and printer mapping.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for navigation, documentation, and asset tracking.
Contract position based out of Baltimore, MD.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range is $20.00–$21.00 per hour. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on job classification and length of employment.
