Position
Description:
CGI Federal is seeking a Senior Service Now Architect who will assist in the technical solution and development/implementation of Service Now in various modules and services. As a Service Now Architect, you will deliver expertise in developing enterprise-wide architecture, leading multiple development and implementations, providing guidance and leadership with development Team Leads.
* This position is located at our client site in Woodlawn, MD. Individuals are required to be fully onsite five days a week
* Your future duties and responsibilities:
. Lead the Service Now Architecture development, enhancements and implementations.
. Collaborate with customers and stakeholders in utilizing Service Now for managing enterprise services and enhancements using new technologies (i.e., AI and automation).
. Build roadmaps, provide recommendations, lead development and utilization of new technologies and services to enhance and fully utilize Service Now services and capabilities.
. Provide assistance to development teams as needed.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Bachelor's and 12 years of experience, Master's and 10 years of experience or 18+ in lieu of a degree
. 10+ years of experience as Service Now Developer
. 5+ years as a Service Now Solutions Architect
. 5+ years leading Service Now development teams
. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust. Contract requirement.
. Required Service Now required certification:
o Certified System Administrator (baseline)
o Certified Application Developer (baseline)
. Service Now CIS certification in multiple areas:
o CIS - Customer Service Management
o CIS - IT Service Management
o CIS - Discovery
o CIS - Service Mapping
o CIS - Strategic Portfolio Management
o CIS - Application Portfolio Management
o CIS - Software Asset Management
o CIS - Hardware Asset Management
. 5+ years of experience with technical discussions and reviews.
. 5+ years of experience across numerous parts of the Service Now platform and experience with commonly integrated third-party technologies
. 5+ years of experience with developing Service Now solutions across various platform applications, such as ITSM, ITOM (HAM and SAM), ITBM, CSM, Sec Ops, GRC, HR
. 5+ years of Industry experience (e.g. Financial Services, Healthcare, High Tech, Manufacturing, Retail, etc.)
. 5+ years of technical leadership experience driving change/solutions.
. Ability to work in a high growth, fast paced environment
. Excellent understanding of system architecture, design principles, and impacts
. Experience supporting IT related data integrity (CMDB, HAM, SAM etc.)
. Excellent technical leadership skills and initiative to take on additional responsibilities.
. Excellent written and oral communication skills to deliver technical solutions simply and succinctly
.
Experience with the US Federal Government

Additional Service Now CIS certification with preference for the following:
. CIS - Customer Service Management
. CIS - IT Service Management
. CIS - Discovery
. CIS - Service Mapping

Experience with Web development, including technologies such as X-HTML, CSS3, SQL, XML, Angular and JavaScript, PHP, .NET, or Java
.
Experience with implementing Java scripting to support automation across the various modules in Service Now
.
Experience with REST and SOAP web service protocols
.
Experience with Business Rules, Workflow, Identification Rules, Work spaces and External Portals
. Knowledge of SAML, Active Directory, or LDAP
. Specialized Service Now Developer Certifications, including ITSM, HAM, SAM, ITBM, CSM, Sec Ops, GRC, TRM/APM or HR
. Project Management or Agile certification
. ITILv4 Foundations Certification
. Ability to work in a high growth, fast paced environment

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role.
Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $88,200.00 - $.
