Job Description
As a Technical Adoption Manager (TAM), you will build and maintain relationships with our customers who are passionate about technology and the opportunities it can bring to their business. You will be a major focal point for everything related to VMware products for teams at all levels, from the most technical to the most senior executive. You will escort and guide them on their journey to becoming market leaders by using the newest and most advanced information technologies.
You will also play a key part in representing Broadcom to customers using VMware products, sharing their experiences and wishes with the account teams, support, and product managers, and contributing your point of view for our shared success.
- Be there for your customers—help them build their business for success and transform from customers to partners on their digital journey.
- Think outside the box to help customers push the technology to its limits and fully leverage our products.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions by building knowledge and understanding of the possibilities presented by different platforms.
- Communicate across teams, breaking down corporate silos between technical and business groups using clear language and personal skills.
- Take leadership when issues arise to help everyone get back on track.
- Demonstrated record of field engagements.
- Well‑versed understanding of VMware technologies.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a virtual team setting.
- Ability to listen, speak, and write in English and Chinese effectively.
- Uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.
- Technically qualifies the customer, identifies success criteria, and executes demos; actively recruits and nominates customers for beta processes and coordinates deliveries.
- Conducts presentations to C‑suite level customer stakeholders and engages with technical leaders.
- Organizes, plans, and runs workshops with customer technical, business, and managerial staff; performs solution architecture and develops overall customer solutions and proposals.
- Articulates our aim and position clearly, identifies clear goals of customers and other parties, and negotiates equitable solutions diplomatically.
- Keeps track of business and technological trends seen in the market.
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or higher certification preferred.
- PMP certification preferred but not essential.
