Our client is a leader in the B2B2C Cybersecurity markets, with offices around the country. Our client is looking for an exceedingly technically minded sales individual and leader who enjoys discovering new markets, the sophisticated technical product sales chase, and has standards of excellence and a hunger for success.

About the Role:

As a Senior Sales Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in connecting our client’s powerful platform and solutions with real-world challenges. You’ll serve as a relatable, knowledgeable partner engaging the product team and customer success individuals weekly within this cybersecurity market standout.

Ideal candidates will bring direct experience from within cyber services or adjacent domains and ideally have “sat in the client’s seat” in roles involving product and client integration, portal solutioning, and resolution services. Your job is to make our client’s capabilities resonate by grounding every product demonstration in the context of your audience’s day-to-day realities.

You’ll partner closely with Sales, Product, and Client Success to ensure that every client’s touchpoint, from discovery to implementation, feels insightful, relevant, and tailored to their needs.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the sales team to lead discovery sessions and deliver personalized product demos that align with each prospect’s specific role, responsibilities, and current environment.

• Relate to client stakeholders by demonstrating deep empathy and understanding of their daily challenges, leveraging your industry background to build instant credibility.

• Translate abstract platform capabilities into concrete business outcomes by tying features directly to the client’s operational goals.

• Design scalable, feasible solutions that meet each client’s end user’s needs and objectives, with clear, real-world applicability.

• Serve as the technical and strategic advisor throughout the sales process, ensuring alignment between customer needs and our client’s platform capabilities.

• Create detailed documentation including solution overviews, integration plans, and technical diagrams to support smooth handoff to implementation teams.

• Be a bridge between product innovation and client experience by sharing client feedback with internal teams to inform and improve product evolution.

Qualifications and Responsibilities:

• 5-7 years in a pre-sales, solutions engineering, or similar role in a SaaS or PaaS company.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.

• Working knowledge of SaaS platforms and enterprise product sales.

• An ability to explain technical concepts in a way that resonates with senior professionals, executives, and non-technical stakeholders.

Proven track record of working cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Client Success to drive client outcomes.

• Comfortable working in fast-moving, client-facing environments.
