Overview

Vistra is seeking a Knowledge Manager to support Department of Defense clients. The Knowledge Manager develops SharePoint-based enterprise solutions to modernize, streamline, and scale resources for workforce development. Works independently with some guidance.

This position is within 50 miles of The Mark Center in Alexandria, VA; onsite participation and attendance will be required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create visually appealing web-based products
  • Design, develop, and configure SharePoint pages, web parts, and other components, including web banners and graphics
  • Manage content types, libraries, lists, and site and page permissions
  • Use Microsoft Power Apps to automate and streamline SharePoint workflows
  • Apply change management best practices to increase adoption among end-user groups
  • Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, web design, marketing, communications, business, or a related field, and 3+ years of directly related experience
  • Experience with SharePoint custom development and architecture to build out-of-the-box solutions
  • Experience with MS SharePoint Online (preference to DoD-365), including SharePoint sites, subsites, libraries, and lists
  • Experience with Power Platform, including Power Automate
  • Experience creating verbal, written, and visual communication/training products, including websites and presentations, in alignment with DoD style expectations
  • Knowledge of change management strategies for effective digital transformation and user adoption
  • Ability to translate client, stakeholder, and end user needs into requirements and actionable recommendations/solutions
  • Experience working in a military environment or with military personnel
  • Experience applying UX/UI and human-centered design strategies to enhance user experience
  • Experience with graphic design, including proficiency with Adobe InDesign or Illustrator
  • Possession of strong organizational skills and attention to detail for high-visibility deliverables
  • Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance; active DoD Public Trust background investigation preferred
