Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in Baltimore, MD that is seeking an HR Operations professional.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide timely, accurate, and responsive support to employees and managers for HR shared services transactions
  • Process a high volume of HR transactions in accordance with standard operating procedures, company policies, and regulatory requirements
  • Support employee life cycle activities, including hiring, job changes, transfers, compensation updates, reclassifications, and terminations
  • Maintain ongoing payroll and HR system updates related to employee personal data, benefits, compensation, and employment status changes
  • Perform data entry quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of HR transactions before and after processing
  • Execute operational HR processes such as schedule changes, pay updates, employee records maintenance, and HR forms administration
  • Respond to inquiries and service requests within established service level agreements (SLAs) while providing exceptional customer service
  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly audits of HR transactions to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and policy compliance
  • Review and resolve discrepancies identified through audits in collaboration with HR partners and internal stakeholders
  • Manage and resolve cases with a strong customer-first mindset and attention to detail
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information in accordance with state and federal regulations
  • Maintain accurate and compliant HR records following record-retention standards and best practices
  • Escalate complex or unusual issues to supervisors or senior team members as appropriate
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Experience in HR operations, shared services, payroll, or administrative support
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
  • Ability to manage high-volume transactional work in a fast-paced environment
  • Working knowledge of HR systems (HRIS) and payroll processes preferred
  • Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
