Job Description & How to Apply Below

1939 was a big year. Gottlieb Dietz met Walter Watson and developed his original German Bratwurst recipe. Four generations and hundreds of recipes later, we still stand by Gottlieb’s unwavering dedication to quality, family, and delicious food. We're rooted in a delicious heritage of secret family recipes that have been perfected over generations. Over the years, we even expanded to a national brand.

Despite this growth, the focus on family, quality and integrity has remained Dietz & Watson’s guiding principles. It’s simple, if you're a part of our team, you're a part of the family. We have a great work environment, excellent benefits and unlimited meat and cheese. Come join our family!

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Business Partner to join our team at our Baltimore facility. This role will support a wide range of HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and training. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring HR practices align with organizational goals.

  • Lead HR initiatives including engagement surveys, culture programs, and change management efforts.
  • Conduct investigations in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
  • Analyze HR metrics to identify trends and develop action plans to improve employee experience and retention.
  • Support compensation, benefits, and performance review cycles.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and internal policies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of HR experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent internal and external customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems (UKG Pro) and Microsoft Office Suite.
