Overview

Director, Global Compensation Lead - KPMG US

Join KPMG’s International organization to lead global compensation programs.

Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and administer global compensation programs for over 2,000 secondees in alignment with member firm principles and KPMGI business objectives.
  • Adapt compensation frameworks to global business goals, member firm guidelines, local laws, industry standards, and market trends.
  • Collaborate closely with local HR and compensation teams to ensure consistent application of policies across global locations.
  • Work with the Finance Business Planning team to forecast and manage the compensation budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and cost control.
  • Use advanced analytics to evaluate global compensation trends and organizational requirements and provide data‑driven insights and strategic recommendations to leadership.
  • Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG’s respectful and courteous work environment.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 12 years of recent experience in global compensation management, focusing on strategic planning, modeling, implementation, and transformation across multiple markets.
  • Master’s degree or CCP preferred;
    Bachelor’s in business, HR, or related field required.
  • Proficiency with HRIS and compensation management software (e.g., Success Factors), Excel, PowerPoint, and familiarity with Power BI.
  • Deep understanding of compensation principles and practices in a global professional services or similar complex organization.
  • Exceptional communication, change management, and interpersonal skills for engaging stakeholders across cultures and geographies.
  • Superior consultative, analytical, and organizational skills. Ability to think strategically and link action plans to critical business priorities.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment‑based visa sponsorship.
Compensation

California Salary Range: $155,000 – $311,000.
