What You’ll Do:

Front Office associates are responsible for the guest registration process and communication of hotel services and promotions.

This function is a full-time role with expectations for flexible shift coverage from 7am‑3:30pm and 3:30pm‑11:00pm, including weekends and holidays.

This position’s hourly rate is $22.67/hr the role is eligible to earn overtime, shift differentials and premium pay under certain circumstances, tips, commissions, service charges, or incentive awards.

Position Responsibilities/

Essential Functions:
  • Answer multi-line phones in a courteous, professional manner
  • Create new reservations either in person, via email or by telephone
  • Process all guest check‑ins by confirming reservations, assigning rooms, and issuing and activating room keys
  • Coordinate with Housekeeping to track readiness of rooms for check‑in
  • Work with other staff members to ensure that all guest rooms meet their requests, hotel standards and accommodate any special client needs
  • Process all payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit
  • Research and resolve disputed charges for guests
  • Follow up with guests regarding satisfaction with guest‑related issues
  • Process all checkouts including resolving any late and disputed charges; answer, record, and process all guest calls, messages, requests, questions, or concerns
  • Run daily reports (number of arrivals, departures), identify any special requests, and check reports for accuracy
  • Review shift logs/daily memo books and document pertinent information in logbooks; balance and drop receipts according to accounting specifications
  • Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
Qualifications:
  • Previous customer service experience, including cash & credit card handling in a service provider industry; hospitality a plus
  • Friendly and outgoing with a good attitude and professionalism
  • Speak with others using clear and professional language; prepare and review written documents accurately and completely; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others
  • Ability to multi‑task, make solid business decisions with minimal supervision and work well under pressure
  • Computer knowledge using a Windows environment
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Availability for flexible shifts, weekends and holidays preferred
