PBX Operator | Harborplace Baltimore Hotel

Overview

The PBX Operator is at the center of the hotel's front office and communications network. You’ll coordinate all hotel communications, from assisting with external and internal calls to facilitating emergency procedures. You play a vital role in ensuring effective communications across the property.

• Promptly answer telephone calls and greet callers with a positive and clear voice.
• Receive wake-up call information and input it into the automated wake-up system.
• Act as dispatcher for security, guest services, and property operations associates. Provide timely information via paging system and two-way radios to associates in response to emergencies and guest requests.
• Redirect calls as needed.

• High School diploma (or equivalent).
• Preferably three to six months of customer service experience.
• Ability to communicate with guests and associates in a professional and positive manner at all times.
