Assistant General Manager - Power Plant Live!
Join Live! Hospitality & Entertainment in this critical role, ensuring day‑to‑day operations meet company standards while driving profit and delivering exceptional guest service.
Responsibilities- Control day‑to‑day operations of the venue within company policies, ensuring appropriate staffing levels.
- Maintain a professional company image, including restaurant and bar cleanliness and compliance with appearance standards.
- Manage Profit & Loss by following cash control/security procedures, inventory management, labor control, and reviewing financial reports.
- Control cost of goods sold, nightly comps, recap reports, and safe audits through inventory oversight.
- Respond to customer service needs to provide the highest standards of service.
- Assist the General Manager in managing third‑party vendor contracts.
- Complete financial and personnel/payroll administrative duties accurately and on time.
- Recruit, interview, hire, train, supervise, and manage disciplinary actions for supervisory and hourly team members.
- Train employees continuously as assigned.
- Ensure a safe working and guest environment to reduce injury risk.
- Manage all third‑party entertainment vendors and, if applicable, the Entertainment Director.
- Ensure daily deposits, safe counts, and venue cash are secured at all times.
- High School Diploma or GED; college degree preferred.
- 1‑3 years of leadership experience in a fast‑paced hospitality food & beverage environment.
- Strong people‑management, communication, and listening skills.
- Ability to lead and communicate efficiently both verbally and in writing.
- Flexibility and adaptability to change.
- Excellent time‑management and organizational skills.
- High internal motivation, detail orientation, and desire to teach others.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Minimum age 21 years.
- Move safely and efficiently around the facilities.
- Carry or lift items weighing up to 75 pounds.
- Handle food, objects, products, and utensils.
- Bend, stoop, kneel as needed.
