Assistant General Manager - Power Plant Live!

Join Live! Hospitality & Entertainment in this critical role, ensuring day‑to‑day operations meet company standards while driving profit and delivering exceptional guest service.

Responsibilities
  • Control day‑to‑day operations of the venue within company policies, ensuring appropriate staffing levels.
  • Maintain a professional company image, including restaurant and bar cleanliness and compliance with appearance standards.
  • Manage Profit & Loss by following cash control/security procedures, inventory management, labor control, and reviewing financial reports.
  • Control cost of goods sold, nightly comps, recap reports, and safe audits through inventory oversight.
  • Respond to customer service needs to provide the highest standards of service.
  • Assist the General Manager in managing third‑party vendor contracts.
  • Complete financial and personnel/payroll administrative duties accurately and on time.
  • Recruit, interview, hire, train, supervise, and manage disciplinary actions for supervisory and hourly team members.
  • Train employees continuously as assigned.
  • Ensure a safe working and guest environment to reduce injury risk.
  • Manage all third‑party entertainment vendors and, if applicable, the Entertainment Director.
  • Ensure daily deposits, safe counts, and venue cash are secured at all times.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED; college degree preferred.
  • 1‑3 years of leadership experience in a fast‑paced hospitality food & beverage environment.
  • Strong people‑management, communication, and listening skills.
  • Ability to lead and communicate efficiently both verbally and in writing.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to change.
  • Excellent time‑management and organizational skills.
  • High internal motivation, detail orientation, and desire to teach others.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Minimum age 21 years.
Physical Requirements
  • Move safely and efficiently around the facilities.
  • Carry or lift items weighing up to 75 pounds.
  • Handle food, objects, products, and utensils.
  • Bend, stoop, kneel as needed.
