Job Description and Duties

The Catering Assistant assists the Catering Director in the administration of the Chick-fil-A Lansdowne Station Catering Program.

An Ideal Catering Assistant possess positivity and diligence, effectively execute every catering order with excellence and act as ambassadors for the Chick-fil-A culture with every interaction. They are mature and people-oriented with excellent communication, organizational and time-management skills including the ability to multi-task and think outside the box. Possessing a VALID driver’s license is a MUST!

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Oversee all catering transactions to ensure customer expectations are met.

• Answering phones, emails and taking new catering orders.

• Documenting and communicating future orders to Kitchen and Front of House Leaders.

• Preparing and staging all packaged items for catering orders.

• Politely and professionally interacting with catering customers in person and on the phone.

• Maintaining the catering order spreadsheet tracker.

• Keeping inventory of catering supplies & informing Kitchen Director of supply needs.

• Coordinate with the Kitchen Manager on fulfillment of all catering orders.

• Follow-up with customers to ensure an exemplary experience.

• Delivering orders and assisting with outside/special events as directed.

• Assist with in store operations (meal fulfillment, stocking, delivering meals to dining guests, cleaning, etc.) when assigned.

• Identifying and analyzing a target market.

• Develop and enhance relationships with guests.

• Exposure to business connections and networking.

Compensation

This position requires 20-30 hours per week (Saturday availability is a must)!

Pay $16.50 - $18.50 per hour!

Monthly cell phone bill allowance (Up to $50.00)!

Bonuses (Monthly productivity Bonuses available based on reaching set goals)!

Paid Time Off (PTO) 1 week- after 6 months of service!
