Maitre'd Responsibilities- Answer phones and take messages/reservations.
- Maintain an accurate wait when necessary.
- Welcome guests upon arrival and bid them farewell.
- Greet guests in a friendly, upbeat manner and smile to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with all guests.
- Communicate problems to management immediately.
- Coordinate seating arrangements to provide fast, courteous service.
- Occasional bussing of tables when needed to expedite efficient seating of waiting guests.
- Anticipate needs of scheduled special parties.
- At least one year of experience in customer service and/or hosting.
- Must speak fluent English; other languages preferred.
- Demonstrated communication skills interacting with guests, employees, and third parties.
- Reading and writing abilities frequently used when recording and reviewing reservations and table assignment system.
- Must be able to read, review, and understand seating charts.
- Basic mathematical skills used frequently.
- May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Carry or lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Handle objects (food, utensils), products, speak over and operate phones.
- Stand, bend, stoop, kneel.
- Must be able to stay in one location at either the entrance or exit of the venue for long periods and safely move about the entire facility.

The rate of pay for this role is $22 an hour.
