Job Details:

• Work three 12-hour night shifts from 6:50 PM to 7:20 AM

• Float between ICU and IMC units as required

• Maintain 2:1 patient ratios during all shifts

• Weekend coverage required as needed

• 2 years of nursing experience required

• First-time travelers accepted

• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

• Must successfully pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms

• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions

• 12 hours of orientation provided

• Care for adult and geriatric patients with conditions including CHF, COPD, respiratory failure, DKA, sepsis, GI bleeds, ARDS, and post-operative patients

• Manage complex equipment including ventilators, CRRT, Arctic Sun, Flo Trac/Vigileo monitoring, and arterial lines

• Perform advanced nursing skills including titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips, blood product administration, central line care, and ventilator management

• Work with interdisciplinary support teams including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams
