Pay From: $20.00 per hour

• MUST: 2+ years experience as a surgical scheduler in a busy medical office
• Must have Surgical Scheduling experience
• Must have EPIC EMR is required
• Must have experience scheduling for multiple physicians
• Must have experience with Microsoft Outlook
• Must possess sound judgment, good communication and business acumen skills
• Must be able to multi-task

• DUTIES: The Surgical Scheduler will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
• Assisting with the day-to-day operations of office
• Enhancing patients/customers experience by providing clerical/technical support
• Greeting patients at front desk reception area, ensuring that the patient has signed in and has all necessary and up to date insurance information
• Properly handling incoming calls; take complete messages with accurate information using message intake form
• Scheduling patient appointments by adhering to scheduling guidelines
• Verifying appointments, print schedules, update patient information as necessary
• Review schedules for cancellations/No show appointments
