Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) – Aberdeen, MD

Position Overview: Skillful Steps ABA offers in‑home Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder. As a BT/RBT, you will work under BCBA supervision to implement behavior intervention plans and support skill development in a collaborative, client‑centered environment.

Responsibilities:

• Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA.
• Provide one‑on‑one behavior therapy sessions to individuals with ASD.
• Collect and record client progress using electronic data collection software.
• Collaborate with the supervising BCBA to implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs.
• Maintain ongoing communication with parents to review and monitor client progress.
• Develop and create teaching materials and visuals.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

• Minimum age 18 years.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check clearance prior to hiring.
• Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or behavioral challenges; ASD experience preferred.
• Reliability:
  Ability to keep to a weekly schedule.
• Access to reliable transportation (vehicle or public transit).
