Residential Specialist Shift Leader (Weekends)
Baltimore, MD | $19.42–$22.02 Hourly | Part-Time
• Saturday & Sunday (7AM–3PM)
About the Role
Step into a leadership position on the weekend shift of our residential program. As Shift Leader you will guide a creative, supportive environment for residents while ensuring program standards, safety, and compliance. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced residential professional eager to impact residents and staff alike.
- Supervise residents, participate in group supervision, and review treatment plans, progress notes, and assessments.
- Respond to the unique strengths, preferences, and goals of residents.
- Onboard, mentor, and conduct initial and annual training for new staff and program volunteers.
- Assist with direction of Residential Services operations, including documentation transitions and medical‑advice (AMA) procedures.
- Monitor and document resident health and safety, covering common room issues, restroom and bedroom access, cafeteria area, therapeutic space, and outdoor areas.
- Model appropriate interactions and encourage resident participation in therapeutic activities and group living settings.
- Deliver universal precautions and health protocols, maintaining a clean environment through sanitation activities.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, such as trash removal, surface wiping, body care, laundry, and dishware cleaning.
- Use company vehicles, as approved, to transport residents entering, receiving, or discharged from care.
- Maintain and serve meals and food items following health and safety protocols and dietary requirements.
- Serve as a liaison and assist with internal and external stakeholder coordination, care partners, and visitors.
- Demonstrate adherence to company policies, expectations, and behavioral competencies.
- Perform all tasks, projects, and duties assigned by Human Resources and Residential Services leadership.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in a residential, behavioral health, human services, or supportive care setting.
