Licensed Mental Health Director

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services. We are currently seeking a Full-time Clinical Licensed Mental Health Director to join our Inpatient Mental Health team in Baltimore, Maryland
.

The Clinical Director - LCPC-S is a key member of the Mental Health Leadership Team and is responsible for coordinating substance use services by providing administrative support, supervision and consultation. This person provides clinical oversight and supervision, ensures timely assessments are completed and intervention for intoxication and withdrawal management is performed per required standards. This person is responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of substance use services, including intake/admission process, assessments, individual follow-up, treatment planning, psycho educational treatment, group therapy, crisis intervention and services for patients.

They will also provide staff training, counseling and performance evaluations.

• Coordinate substance use services by providing administrative support, supervision and consultation.
• Provide clinical oversight and supervision; ensure timely assessments and intervention for intoxication and withdrawal management.
• Develop, implement and evaluate substance use services including intake/admission process, assessments, treatment planning, psycho educational treatment, group therapy, crisis intervention and services for patients.
• Provide staff training, counseling and performance evaluations.

• Master s level degree in Social Work, Counseling or related field from an accredited educational institution required.
• Active professional unrestricted license as an LCPC-S.
• Three to five years’ experience in a progressive supervisory or management position.
• Three to five years’ mental health experience in a correctional or mental health environment preferred.
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, including a drug screen and a criminal background check.
