Job Details:

• Work three 12-hour night shifts from 6:50 PM to 7:20 AM

• 2 years of nursing experience required

• First-time travelers accepted

• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS

• Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms

• Float to ICU and IMC units required

• Weekend coverage required as needed

• Patient ratios: 2:1 for days, nights, and weekends

• Care for adult and geriatric patients

• 12 hours of orientation provided

• Manage patients with conditions including CHF, COPD, respiratory failure, DKA, sepsis, GI bleeds, ARDS, post-operative care

• Work with specialized equipment including CRRT, Arctic Sun, Flo-Trac/Acumen, Liko ceiling lifts, ventilators

• Perform procedures such as arterial line management, central line care, ventilator management, blood product administration

• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions

• Must complete facility-specific modules within one week of contract signing

The facility provides advanced critical care services with extensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and specialized lift teams. The ICU is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and offers comprehensive critical care for patients requiring intensive monitoring and advanced life support interventions.
