Main Purpose of Job
This position is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of training curriculum and resources that are provided to statewide people receiving services and their families, stakeholders and DDA staff. This position also supports the coordination of interpretation and translation services, reasonable accommodation and visual communication services. This position is responsible for working collaboratively with the team in planning and facilitating regional DDA events.
This position also includes the management of procurement activities necessary to support the DDA Regional Office and associated activities.

- Education:
Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate. - Experience:
Two years of professional experience in assisting in the coordination of a health-related program(s) or referring people to governmental and private resources. - Notes:
- Candidates may substitute 30 college credit hours from an accredited college or university on a year-for-year basis for the required experience.
- Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a commissioned officer in Health Care Administration classifications or Civil Affairs Specialist specialty codes in the health-related field of work on a year-for-year basis for the required experience and education.
Preferred Qualifications
- The preferred candidate should possess:
- Communication background or experience in hosting large scale public events.
- Customer service experience working with others both internally and externally.
- Experience/knowledge of the Medicaid 1915c HBCS waiver.
