Main Purpose of JobThe Psychologist II position provides treatment services for patients/residents in accordance with Center policies and Psychology Department standards in order to help patients/residents improve their psychological functioning and accomplish objectives specified in their treatment plans. This Psychologist II position also completes psychological assessments of patients/residents in accordance with Center policies and Psychology Department standards in order to assist with patient/resident treatment planning, diagnosis, management and treatment.
Minimum Qualifications- Education:
Determined by the Maryland State Board of Examiners of Psychologists under the licensing requirements for Psychologists. - Experience:
Two years of experience rendering psychological services or engaged in psychological research after receipt of the Psychologist license.
Preferred Qualifications
The desired candidate should possess the following:
- Experience with psychiatric patients/residents.
- Knowledge of personality, intelligence, interest and aptitude measurements.
Will be required to possess a motor vehicle operator’s license valid in the State of Maryland.
