Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

• 3x12 schedule with every other weekend and every other holiday required

• Patient ratio of 1:4 in general emergency department with combined adult/pediatric setting

• Must successfully pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms

• 2 years of emergency department experience required

• General ED combined adult/pediatric setting experience required

• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS

• Preferred certifications: TNCC, CPI, MAB

Skills required:

Triage, IV starts, phlebotomy, continuous IV sedation, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, central line care/management, emergency medications

• Charge experience preferred

• First-time travelers accepted

• Preceptor experience preferred

• 12 hours of orientation provided

• Care for patients of all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

• Handle approximately 115 visits per day in 27-room emergency department

• Must complete facility-specific modules within one week of contract signing

• Two supervisor references required

• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions

This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive emergency services department with 27 beds serving approximately 115 patients daily. The facility provides emergency care for all age groups from neonates to geriatrics, handling urgent and emergent medical needs. The emergency department features interdisciplinary support including interpretation services, radiology, social services, transportation, and unit secretary support. The organization maintains high clinical standards with specialized training requirements and comprehensive orientation programs for healthcare professionals.
