Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts with 36-hour weekend coverage

• Block scheduling options available including just two shifts or every weekend plus another shift

• Must be willing to work holidays

Start date:

November 11th

• Patient ratio of 1:5 across all shifts

• 2 years minimum experience required with 1 prior travel assignment

• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH, and PALS

• Must successfully pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms

•

Required skills:

Conscious Sedation, Telemetry, Triage, and Vents

• Must have Cerner experience

• 36-hour orientation provided

• Scrubs not provided - must wear navy blue scrubs

• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions

• Care for patients of all age groups from neonates to geriatrics

• Handle cardiac, respiratory, stroke/neuro, orthopedic, oncology, GI/GU cases and trauma injuries

• Perform special procedures including conscious sedation, chest tubes, arterial lines, joint reductions/splinting, and ventilator management

• Work with specialized equipment including rapid infusers, GE monitors, Alaris IV pumps, and Zoll defibrillators

Facility:

This major medical center operates a high-volume emergency department with 62 rooms and beds, handling approximately 200 visits per day. The facility provides comprehensive emergency services with extensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and specialized equipment for critical care. The emergency department offers advanced capabilities for complex procedures and maintains full support services around the clock.
