Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Back Office Medical Assistant for a busy Multi-Specialty, Adult Internal Medicine clinic. The primary responsibilities include supporting a team of rotating providers, handling patient care, and assisting with front office duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Rooming patients.
- Triage (height, weight, BP, temp).
- Administering injections - vaccines and medications.
- Performing EKGs.
- Supporting front office tasks as needed, including patient check-in, registration, and answering phones.
- CMA required - FPI accepts the NPCE.
- At least 1 year of previous Medical Assistant experience.
- Previous experience supporting front office duties is a plus.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Medical Assisting.
- Experience with front office duties and EPIC software is preferred.
- Proficiency in Medical Assisting tasks such as EKGs, injections, and patient triage.
- Front office skills including patient check-in, registration, and communication.
- Preferred experience with EPIC.
