We have room to grow for an additional Specialty Surgical Technologist!
Shift: 8 hour shifts (6:45a-3:15p)
Surgical Services: Orthopedics - trauma, limb lengthening, limb deformity, bone infections/tumors, joint preservation & replacement, pediatric orthopedics, and foot & ankle
Responsibilities- As a member of the surgical team in the RIAO, the SPECIALTY SURGICAL TECHNOLOGIST provides technical assistance to the surgeon/physician during surgical intervention under the supervision of the RN.
- When not directly assisting the physician in a procedure, may participate in the rendering of patient care under the direction of the Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse or Registered Nurse.
- Contributes to sustaining a culture focused on achieving optimal patient outcomes and delivering highly reliable care while adhering to the National Patient Safety Goals.
- Works within a learning environment that values teamwork to promote a unified and spirited workplace.
- Surgical Tech Diploma (must pass Diploma/graduation test)
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR Certification
- Accredited Surgical Technology Course Certificate CST - Certified Surgical Technologist
