CT / Radiologic Technologist – Cardiac Cath Lab Travel Job in Baltimore, MD

• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2460 - $2640

• Location: Baltimore, MD 21201 (Maryland healthcare jobs)
• Contract Length: 12 weeks (travel healthcare contract)
• Start Date: February 2, 2026
• Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts (07:00 - 17:30)
• Hours per Week: 40
• On-Call: 1 day per week and 1 weekend per month
• Weekend Coverage: 1 weekend per month (inclusive of on-call)
• Patient Population: Adults & Geriatrics
• Average Daily Case Volume: 15
• Number of Rooms: 4

• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience with RCIS certification (3 years if ARRT-R)
• Prior travel healthcare experience required (no first-time travelers)
• Active Maryland or Compact State Radiologic Technologist License
• Certifications:
  
  RCIS or ARRT-R, BLS, ACLS (AHA only)
• Community hospital experience required
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Ability to float within hospital as needed
• Must reside at least 50 miles from facility
• Two professional references required
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures: PCI, CTO, PFO/ASD closure, coronary atherectomy, pericardiocentesis, aortic valvuloplasty, septostomy, TAVR, Mitra Clip, Tri Clip, IABP and Impella placement, ECMO placement, and coronary thrombectomy
• Operate advanced Cath Lab equipment:
  Impella console, IABP console, Shockwave, Boston Scientific IVUS/FFR/DFR, Acist, Med Rad, Rotablader, Penumbra, and various coronary wires, stents, and balloons
• Monitor and interpret hemodynamics and cardiac dysrhythmias
• Maintain sterile field and follow infection control protocols
• Participate in rapid response/code teams as needed
• Provide accurate EKG lead placement and recognize life-threatening arrhythmias
• Support interdisciplinary teams and utilize interpretation services as required
• Float to other units within scope of experience as needed
